Amanishakheto was a Kandake (queen) of ancient Nubia (now Sudan). She was known to be an excellent pyramid /temple builder, and also known for defeating a Roman army sent by Augustus. Amanishakheto's grave was hidden with jewelry which was found by Italian treasure hunter Ferlini which are now displayed in the Egyptian Museum of Berlin.
